"KoDaFe in NYC”, which began in 2012, stands for Korean Dance Festival; it is the opportunity for Choreographers, dancers, and other artists to get together and put on a wonderful showcase under the theme given for that festival. June 2017 was the first time that "KoDaFe in NYC" was held on two days with over 18 dance companies participating from the US and Abroad. Mee Jung, a native of South Korea, is the Artistic Director and CEO of i KADA Dance, the company that created and hosts "KoDaFe in NYC". The goal for us is to take the audience out of the mundane and transport them into an extraordinary world; all while keeping up with i KADA Dance’s mission of exchange and community.
