The Production Internship is a 10- 12 week program where a series of thought provoking and engaging content for the MNN’s award winning Youth Channel will be completed.
The productions from The Youth Channel are done in both Field and Television Studio settings and will be showcased both on broadcast and digital platforms. The Youth Production Interns will work as a crew and will experience different roles throughout the internship including but not limited to: camera operator, editor, researcher, director and more. In addition to the media productions, interns will attend community events that highlight important justice and cultural work taking place in NYC. Interns will receive training and workshops to continue to build their skills in media making and community organizing. This internship is an opportunity for individuals looking to gain real-life experience in production and build a personal media portfolio and reel.
