Video Editing (iMovie)

Got media and looking for an easy way to tell a captivating story? In this course, students will learn how to navigate Apple’s iMovie video editing application. This course will explore basic video and audio editing, importing and exporting footage, and applying basic transitions, titles and effects.

Upon successful completion of this course you will be certified in Video Editing w/ iMovie and be able to reserve MNN’s editing stations to edit your MNN programs. 

This course is designed for older adults and mediamakers using mobile devices to create content. MNN’s older adult media education courses feature smaller class sizes, technology literacy components and slower-paced class environments. If you are seeking this type of learning environment, we encourage you to register.

Note: Students must supply their own headphones for use during this course.

Prerequisites for Field Production (iMovie):

• Attend MNN General Orientation
• Submit current proof of Manhattan Residency and Identification
