This 12-week documentary filmmaking intensive will give students the opportunity to produce a 4-7-minute mini-documentary based on a theme developed by the media education department. You will learn how to script, plan, shoot and edit a mini-documentary.
This course will be held on select Wednesdays and Fridays. There will be a public screening of all mini-documentaries at Manhattan Neighborhood Network and will be scheduled to air on MNN’s cablecast and digital platforms at MNN’s discretion.
Prerequisites:
- Field Video w/ Sony NX5U/Z150 Certification
- Basic Video Editing w/ Adobe Premiere CC Certification
- Completed at least one project that aired on MNN (2014 or later)
