Host Kristal Hart reports on New York City Vietnam Veterans Day which was held March 27th, 2021 at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza at 55 Water Street.  The event honors the men and women who served and sacrificed when the call to serve their country was needed. Speakers include: Mark Otto, President & Executive Director United War Veterans Council, Marine Corps Veteran Panama Invasion, Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm; James W. Hendon, Commissioner NYC Dept. of Veterans' Services; Michael Bocchini, Deputy Director New York State Department of Veterans' Services; Vince McGowan/ President Emeritus UWVC. McGowan was awarded the Patrick L. Gualtieri award for Service to Vietnam Veterans, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Vietnam and Vicki Miano a Gold Star Family member.
