Mobile Video Production (for MNN Certified Field Producers)

Do you know that you have most of the equipment you need to create professional quality media in your pocket right now? Your smartphone + MNN’s audio, lighting and stabilization equipment = professionally created media. This two-session certification course will teach you how to use your personal smartphone with MNN’s audio, lighting and stabilization equipment along with managing mobile media.

Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to reserve Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s on-location, smartphone-specific video equipment packages that are designed to be used with your smartphone to make high-quality media. Only those individuals already certified to use MNN’s field equipment can register for this class.

Prerequisites for Mobile Video Production:

• Attend MNN General Orientation
• Complete Field Production (Sony NX5U)
• Submit current proof of Manhattan Residency and Identification

Please note: Your smartphone must be capable of shooting high definition video with a resolution of at least 1920x1080. Most recently manufactured smartphones will successfully meet these technical standards. To successfully complete this course, you will need at least 8GB of storage reserved for media storage.
