Please join us at MNN El Barrio Firehouse for the screening of Free Angela and All Political Prisoners, a documentary by Director Shola Lynch. In the turbulent 1960s, Angela Davis becomes a controversial political icon as she joins the Communist Party, protests with the Black Panthers, and becomes an advocate and spokesperson for prison reform in the United States. Her detractors label her a dangerous menace, while her supporters call her a strong leader who challenges authority and boldly advocates for "Power to All People".
