Join us as we chat with Michel Chen an award winning photographer. Follow his journey from Malaysian Government photographer traveling with the ministry and his decision to come to the United States to study lighting on the West Coast and then coming to New York to NYU Film School to get a Masters in Photography. He first apprenticed for a Fashion photographer and then formed his own Fashion Photography Business. He wanted to pursue other aspects of photography using his lighting experience and became a location scout for the film industry primarily locations in Asia. Learn from his experiences working with Directors about the best time to shoot and selecting countries which have an abundance of good weather all important knowledge for location scouts.
