Basic Field Production will cover various technical areas of production, storytelling techniques and the phases of production to aid in developing original programming for MNN’s Youth Channel.

This 2 hour Orientation will be a great opportunity for interested students to meet the staff, learn more about the YMC, and register for upcoming classes.

Using professional digital editing software, this course will explore basic video and audio editing, importing and exporting footage, and applying basic transitions, titles and effects.

Basic Television Studio Production will cover various aspects of both the technical and creative side of studio production to aid in developing original programming with high production values for MNN’s Youth Channel. Open for youth ages 16 - 24.

Join us on June 8th, as we will be hosting a screening and panel for our newest documentary produced by Youth Channel Fellows. The documentary focuses on Food Deserts in NYC and how they affect communities of color.

All members of the community are welcome.
